We had a lot of fun. For her birthday night June 3rd we did dinner at home and had a few people over for dinner and cake. Shaley was so excited but really had no idea why everyone was singing to her. It was really cute. We did a party for her the Saturday after her birthday, June 6th. We ended up doing it at the Zoo. What a great turn out that was! There was quite a few people that showed up.
For the week of her birthday we had a lot going on. My Grandma from California came in on Monday the 1st so she got to stay until we left the next Wednesday for Oregon (Uncle Brett's Wedding), I will have a new post for that trip. On Thursday the 4th Dusty, Brittoni and Harlee came in. We had so much fun with them! I found a best friend in the whole trip. Brittoni! We got along right away and have so much in common. I am blessed to have her in my life. While they were here we went up to Gatlinburg but of course it rained the whole time! It was so frustrating!! But we still made a good trip of it. We got Harlee and Shaley's Old Time Picture done. So cute. We did have a mishap during the photo shoot... Little Miss Harlee decided to be a dare devil and fall off the bar we had the girls up on. So many people went to stop her fall she didn't hit as hard as she could have but she did still hit and was very upset. She cried for a good bit but she is such a trooper we still got some good pictures. Shaley didn't know what to think about Harlee at first in fact she tried to step on her while Harlee was trying to crawl I guess to tell her who is boss but by the end they got along great and Shaley gave her lots of loves. That trip with them was a good time and wish they were a lot closer! We talked about them moving but they have their family back in Vegas (where they live) and wouldn't ever force them to move (EVEN THOUGH I WOULD LOVE TO :)
