What a Party!

So I pulled it off! James turned 33rd on Tuesday the 21st and I did a surprise party for him! We had such a great turn out. Lots of people showed up and best of all James was actually surprised.. haha. For anyone who doesn't really know James that well he is the hardest person to surprise, so I feel very honored I actually did it. I invited a lot of his friends that he hasn't seen for some time. He was surprised all the way till he pulled in the parking lot and saw one of his friends car. But hey at least he was surprised up to that point.. haha. I had some help during the day. My sister Amanda and my friend Ashley came over and helped out with Shaley and cooking all day. We made some marinated chicken, shake and bake type chicken, sweet potato crunch which was a hit, muffins, and salad. We also of course had chips, salsa, dip and a veggie tray. I got a photo cake made for him which he has never had. I tried to do a big deal for him because I did want to show him I care and love him. He was very happy as to who was there and what I had planned so I am glad he enjoyed all of it. We really did have a great time! Thank you to everyone that showed up! So I did a shout out to Shaley and wanted to also do one for James...
I sometimes don't give him enough credit or show him how much I do appreciate and love him. He really is a great husband and daddy. We have been together for 2 years now and am still loving every minute of being with him. Marriage is not always easy but he is the first one to step up to make anything and everything work. We met in Louisiana. His sister Jamie and I went down for the weekend to check out New Orleans (Their family used to live there) and stay with James. We automatically clicked and got along so great. We say now it was love at first site :) Everything that happened with us happened very quick but we have been very fine with all of it. We met in June of 2007, I moved down to Louisiana in August, got engaged the beginning of September on the beach in Florida it was beautiful, and than found out we were pregnant at the end of September. Our original wedding date was June 21st (a year after we got together) but once we found out we were pregnant I wanted to be married before the baby got here. We up'ed the date to January 26th, 2008. We had a beautiful wedding with lots of people that came! At this time of getting married I was 5 Months pregnant so it was a long day for me :) James put up with alot while I was pregnant, poor guy! But like I said before he is the one that always steps up and does anything to make things work. We have a lot more memories but I am going to post some pictures of those memories instead of going on and on like I can do.

She is my whole world! I just want to let everyone know how blessed I am to have Shaley in my life. Everyone always asks me "why don't you go out" or " why don't you just have one drink" or "why don't you let her stay here for the night" My answer everytime is Shaley. I love being there when she wakes up in the morning or when she goes to bed at night or going in the middle of the night to look at her sleeping. I do not want to miss one thing that happens in her life. No one can ever tell you about how it is to be a mommy till you really do become one. I look back and think when I was pregnant. I was miserable, very sick the whole time and huge. I wanted her out of me so bad and all I kept saying was how I did not ever want another one. I regret ever complaining or saying that stuff because it is so worth doing whatever it takes just to have another one of her in my life. I love how when I am in a bad mood or just emotional she is right there to make me laugh or smile about something whether it is making a silly face or giving mommy loves *tear*. She is just the best thing. I have never really been very emotional until I have had her. At least once a day she does something that makes me tear up, it is such a great thing! I just wanted to let everyone know how I feel about being a mommy and how much I really do love it!

Weekend with the Sill's

We had a great weekend. We have so much fun with Shaley and share so many great moments with her. I am going to post a few pictures and tell you about them on here but I am also gonna tell you some of the new things Shaley is doing. Aunt Amanda started trying to teach Shaley how old she is. When we ask her how old she is she will put up her 1 finger and try to say one. She is trying so hard to understand it. I told you a couple weeks back Shaley went poo poo on the potty and now she has gone pee pee on the potty! We are so amazed how smart she is. When she does her duty on the potty she gets a little dum dum sucker for her being a big girl. And now her biggest thing that has changed, she is not on formula anymore! This is something I wanted her off of when she turned a year like that day she turned a year I wanted her off the formula but we went to the doctor and she said it was ok to keep her on it for a little bit longer. Well she is now off of it and doing so good. The next thing we will have to conquer is taking the bottle from her. She is still on the bottle with milk in it, which we didn't want to do either but things change. Everything revolves around her as it should. We will do things at her speed and she will be ok.
Yesterday we took Shaley to the lake. Gracie even got to go with us, we had alot of fun! We were so surprised when Gracie got in the water with us and was swimming around and having fun with us. Shaley didn't know what to think but she still had fun!

Mom's Birthday!

Thursday July 9th was mom's birthday, We went out to dinner on Friday night. It was a lot of fun! We went to Calhoun's Steakhouse. We all have not a family picture since James and I's wedding so we got a new family picture. It is kinda blurry due to it being dark outside but at least its a picture. Janell, Aaron, Brandon, Caden and Drake all came out to the house yesterday. They came out to see our house for the first time and to go swimming and to feed the ducks. It was a fun time. First we went swimming and the kids just loved it! They didn't want to leave. After we did that we went to grab something to eat. We got back and went to feed the ducks. The kids ran around and was so excited to be that close. Drake just wanted to run after them, Caden just wanted to feed them and Brandon was so interested what kind of duck it was.

Days in my Beautiful Life!
