Shaley came up to me this morning with her cars. I asked her if she was gonna share her cars with her baby brother when he got here and she told me yes and set them on my tummy like this. The baby actually started kicking them and she got so excited and said "Oh mommy, baby play!" He was trying to play with her in my belly. It was the best moment!

Gatlinburg Aquarium January 2010

For James and I's anniversary, my mom got us a cabin. James decided to take Shaley with us cause he knew I would be so happy to be all together. We went to the Gatlinburg Aquarium. Shaley loved it and I did of course too. I would have to say James enjoyed himself too. It was a great trip!

Yay for Fall!

I love when the leaves start changing and it starts getting a little chilly...

Saturday I got to take Shaley to a pumpkin patch. Janell and my nephews got to go as well. We had a blast! When we got there we got to take a fun ride on a wagon/hay ride. It was pulled by a tractor. We got down to the pumpkin patch and it was a big field that we could pick any pumpkin there. Due to the ride we had to take back and of course all the mud from it raining the day before and the morning of we told the boys they needed to pick out a pumpkin that they could carry back themselves. We got our pumpkins and then went and put them in the car so we didn't have to carry them. We went to a big slide that they had set up for the kids. After that we got to go over to the sand box and let the kids play there. They were having so much fun and didn't want to leave that but we still had the corn maze to do and it was getting later and later. I have never been in a corn maze so that was alot of fun! Shaley loved it as well and we actually found out that she loves mud. All she wanted to do was sit in it and play. I didn't care at this point because we were all muddy. Also note to self don't wear flip flops and a dress to a pumpkin patch. We only did half of the maze because it was pretty chilly all day and just started to get colder as the day went on. We left out of the maze and Janell let the boys get their faces painted. We had a great day and would love to go back with my husband next time!

Wow already 16 Months!

She has done so much in her 16 months. She is saying please so well now and knows when to say it. She is a smart little cookie. The other day we were at Target and my phone went off and she said Uh-O and than took my phone out of my purse and handed it to me. Little things like that just seem to amaze us. Vegas Trip!

We just got back from Vegas. It went from being a 5 day trip to a 9 day trip. We had a blast and did so much! James is now in love with the place and would love to move there. The reason for going is for Miss Harlee Jo's 1st Birthday. The poor baby though ended up getting sick with a 103 fever and had to go to the emergency room the day of her party. Poor Brittoni too she put so much work into her party but having kids you never know how it is gonna end up turning out. Everyone still showed up for the party and ate some good food and just socialized worrying about Harlee and waited for updates on how she was doing. Everything ended up being ok and she got some good medicine and as the week went by she did better and better. Some of the stuff we ended up doing was going bowling, went to the Bellagio to watch the fountain show, went to the TI to watch the Siren show, went to Cicus Circus to watch the show there, went to a mall they have there and also have a big play water area for the kids, we got to see Kat Von D!, went to Build A Bear on Harlee's Birthday, and much much more... My dad, Moe, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Cindi, Cody, and Amanda all got to come over for Harlee's birthday. It was nice seeing them as well. Shaley has not seen them since she was 4 months old so it was nice for her to see everyone again.

On Harlee's actual birthday we went to Build a Bear so she could get her birthday bear. What a blast that was! Shaley fell asleep before we got there so we ended up making her a horsey while she was asleep. Harlee had such a good time doing it though. So sweet. That night we went to this amazing restaurant called Clam Jumpers. Brittoni's parents are the sweetest people in the world and they ended up paying for everyone's dinner. On Sunday was the party and that is when Har had to go to the hospital. The party was still fun but also nerve racking worrying about Har Har. Monday Brittoni and Dusty had to take Harlee back to her doctor for a check up so James, Shaley and I wanted to give them their space especially once they got back and Harlee could sleep so we went down the strip for a few hours. We had fun down there hanging out. Tuesday night we went out to dinner to a restaurant called Martini's. It is a place they go to weekly and get free food because of how much Brittoni, Dusty and her family go there. It was a pretty good place. Wednesday we took the girls down to the little water park thing at the mall. Shaley didn't know what to think at first but ended up having a great time. Thursday we went to a casino called Red Rock which is a casino for alot of the locals, we went for the Breakfast buffet and than ended up bowling. The girls had such a blast! Than we got to go see Kat Von D! Brittoni and I were so excited. She was the nicest lady ever! We had to stand in a long line and it got really hot but it was so worth it! After that we went to the Cheesecake factory for the 2nd time this week of being there. We love that place now! Friday we were all so exhausted and tired we ended up laying around and by the afternoon we all took a nap. Friday night we went to PF Chang's which was actually pretty good. Saturday was the day to go home :( I was so stressed and wanting to get everything done and keep my mind off of having to leave Dusty, Brittoni and Harlee. Brittoni's mom Joyce came over to see us off. She was great the whole time we were there and treated us like her own family. She adored Shaley and us as well. We love her! We had 2 great flights though and got home safe.

Ready for Change

It is getting near the end of the Summer and I am ready for a change. I am ready for Fall/Autumn to be here and watch the trees change. Looking forward to getting some very pretty pictures. I myself is ready for a change, hair cut, color, makeup, ect. We are going back to church and am going to baptize Shaley in October. We are leaving in a week to go to Vegas for a much needed vacation. We are going to start getting back on our feet. Things are going to get better! Everyone is going through a hard time right now but we need to be thankful for what we actually do have. I am very thankful for what I have. An amazing husband, daughter, and supporting family. Thank you to everyone that has been there for us through our funk...

All I can say is I am ready for that change!

My all time favorite past time with my baby girl! She is such a great artist and I love keeping all of her art work. We have recently gone back to church and when we went on Sunday we met such a great couple! They have a 16 month old little girl named Lilliana. Such a cutie. We traded numbers and actually got together on Tuesday. Lilly's mommy Kay and I hung out and watched the girls play so well together which made us happy cause our little ladies got a new fried and so did the mommy's! Woohoo! So since they came over we did some painting. What a blast we had! The girls had more fun I think painting on themselves where Kay had more fun painting on Lilly's paper and I had more fun taking pictures (of course). So I am going to share some picture of our time together...

15 Months Has Gone By Way To Fast :(

So it has been a fast 15 Months. Shaley is now 15 Months and it just makes me sad. She has changed so much and is so smart. She just amazes me how much she does now. I have been collecting on paper everything that she is doing up to this point and would like to share with you.

Things she does:

Jumps
Gives Loves (Kisses and Hugs)

Talks alot of baby jibber
Loves water; baths/swimming/ect
Tells us how old she is, she will put her 1 finger up and say one
She loves to color and paint
Communicates with us. If we ask her a question we ask her yes or no and she will shake her head either way to let us know what her answer is and than says yes or no
Walking (Since 8 Months)
Her favorite foods are mac and cheese, pancakes and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Mommy and her have planted some flowers and made it a good project to do together, she gets so excited when we get to go water the flowers and says water when we go out there.
Loves to turn the tv on and off
Puts her dukes up. I taught her this in about 2 days.

We had a fun and busy weekend....

Saturday we started off by helping out with a pancake breakfast for little Tyler man. We had a slow start but than picked up and ended up having a great turn out! James worked his butt off to help out and I was so thankful for that! Because of things like this the family is helped out financially and can concentrate on their little boy.

Saturday night we went to the drive in. Shaley has never been so it was her first actual movie. She did pretty good. She didn't understand what the movie was and why it was on that big board but it was alot of fun and can't wait to do it again!

Sunday we went to church for the first time at the catholic church. (James is catholic, I am not but am working on becoming one, taking classes) I enjoyed the church and ended up meeting a great couple! Kay, Liliana, and Dave. After church we ended up going to Booms Day. I was looking forward to this all week. I have never been but it sounded so fun and it ended up being such a blast!

Monday we went to Dollywood. We had a lot of fun but would have really had fun if it didn't keep raining on and off. I love dollywood and love everytime we go. Shaley has a blast and it was nice to have James there with us this time.

Surprise Visit to Brooke and the Twins!!

On our way to Louisiana James and I were talking about what we should do Sunday before we left. We were talking about going to the beach but than James said hey why don't we go and see Brooke, Tony and the little ones?? I said That is a great idea! They live right outside Jackson, Mississippi so we did have to detour a little more and added 3 hours to our trip but it was so worth it! Lily and Jake are 2 weeks younger than Shaley. I was so happy to see my biggie sissy and her babies as much as I was excited for her to see us and Shaley! We planned on leaving Sunday night and driving half way till we got tired and got a hotel room so the drive wasn't going to be that bad on Monday but we ended up just staying the night there and leaving early Monday morning. It was a very long day! We drove 8 hours and than I had to get to work to close. It was a long long day but so worth seeing them. I think with all that was going on though and being around our nephews Shaley and I are both now sick. So what we ended up doing is surprising them, they had no idea we were coming to see them. That is the best way to do things! We had a hard time finding their place due to their house not being on google maps or the gps so we had to stop at a gas station asking where their road was, no one knew what we were talking about so we found a cop there and asked him, he brought up their names and told us where to go. We finally made it and parked a little ways from their house so they couldn't look out the windows to see who was there. Tony answered the door completely surprised and don't really think he knew who we were at first haha. I asked him where Brooke was and he said in the kitchen, I went around the corner and the look on her face was priceless! She jumped and screamed and gave us a big hug. She kept telling us how shocked she was to have surprise her and actually pull it off. It was so nice seeing them all! They made us an amazing dinner. It was stuffed chicken, salad, chips, dip and broccoli. They were very hospitable. We had a great time though so I am going to share some pictures from our time with them...

Very Long Road Trip to Louisiana

Wow! So this road trip was a long one. James didnt think it was that bad but oh my goodness Shaley was so uncomfortable and not wanting to sit in her seat. The drive to Slidell is around 8 hours. I hate driving anyway so I was not comfortable either. We headed down there for our nephews Brandon and Drake's birthday party. I will have a new post about the party after this one.. Shaley is such a sweet little girl and has the best personality. She lights my day up everyday whether I feel up to it or not. She knows exactly what to do if someone is down. What a great day this was!!

On Saturday morning I woke up and Casey was here I said "Let's go to Dollywood!" She told me mom won't let me. It ended up being that Mom would not let her go so I said I am going anyway! James had to work the whole day so I did not want to stay in all day when we could get out and do something. So we loaded up and went just Shaley and I. It is nice to get a Mommy and Daughter day! I know I stay home with her all day everyday until work at night but it is very different when you actually get out of the house and do something fun. We got there around 1 and stayed until around 5. We had a blast just the 2 of us! We rode on the ducks, Carousel, and a big train... It doesn't seem like we did much but we definitely stayed busy with the park. I can't wait to go back with James next time as a family. Here are some pictures of our day...

Shaley does the same thing every morning when she gets up. I love that I know how my morning is going to go due to what she watches on tv once she's up. Her 3 favorite shows that she watches are Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Imagination Movers . These are the only 3 shows she will actually sit through. I find myself through out the day singing songs from these shows.

I am posting a video in here of Shaley waving and saying hi to Mickey Mouse... If you listen to the video Mickey will say Hi-Ya Friends and than you will see what Shaley does...Very Cute!

Diamondbacks and Wranglers

I had to show everyone how I dressed my daughter today... Her Aunt Nicole sent her a diamondbacks jersey for her birthday and than a guy from work brought a pair of wranglers for Shaley. Now since I used to be this big redneck and wore wranglers and boots I thought it was so awesome for her to have her first pair of wranglers. I am a huge diamondbacks fan so I was so excited to see the jersey! Here are a couple pictures of her from today!

Museum

Today we took Shaley to the Children's Museum in Chattanooga. I think it was still a little to soon for things like that for her. We were worried at first because she wasn't wanting to do anything but be with us. There was alot of people there and tons of stuff to do. Finally she did start to warm up to everything and wanted to play. They had a cute play area for toddlers that she just loved. James and I loved it too and would love to do her room like that. We took some good pictures for ideas :)

Her favorite room of all was the music room... She had a blast in there. As everyone should know she loves music! So of course it would be her favorite.

After we got done with the museum we went down by the river. I made lunch for us last night to eat while we were down there so it was very nice to have a family lunch down by the river. Shaley had a rough day with her going potty (poo poo) like she has since she was born and is on medicine for it but today was a very rough day with all of it. It just kills James and I to see her that way. I cry along with her most of the time because she is in so much pain so today was hard. At the end of the day though everything was worth what we did even with the baby not feeling good. It is so nice to have family days where it is just the 3 of us together.

I forgot about what she did the other day... I have to tell you about it as well. Her favorite song right now is Boom Boom Pow from the Black Eyed Peas. When we get in the car I always turn the music up for her and she just dances. Well knowing that is her favorite song it came on while we were driving so I turned around to see if she noticed it was on and she didn't. She was just looking out the window so I turned it up a little more and she screamed "Boom Boom!" She was so excited her song was on... I loved it!

Shaley started showing us her belly button. We never have to work with her for more than 3 days. She is very smart and learns very well. Yay Alexis made it! She was born on July 25th, 2009 at 11:39 pm... She was 6 pounds 13 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Poor mommy was in labor for over 24 hours. I am proud of her though! They made such a beautiful little girl! I have posted a couple pics because I am so proud!

I watched Ayden for Amy the other day and what a day that was! I have never seen Shaley act so mean and stubborn...
Everytime Ayden tried to touch one of Shaley's toys she would freak out and scream at him than hit and scratch him. You have to know these two are not strangers to eachother... Shaley was just not in the mood I guess that day to hang out with him. All in all though it ended up being a good day. Ayden loves Shaley so much and is always trying to make her happy. I did get some good pictures of them playing but not many :( I guess the moral of this day was we are going to have to have more playdates :)

We have been busy with alot of stuff going on... Our internet was not working for a little bit so now I have to update since it has been down.
Some of the new things Shaley is doing:
She is now blowing on her food if we tell her it is hot. She is really funny when it comes to it. If we tell her the bath water is hot she will sit there and blow on all the water till she thinks it is cooled down enough for her. Very cute!
She got 2 new teeth over the weekend of July 25th. Her mouth seemed to be bugging her a little bit and that was the reason. There was a couple nights where she just didnt want to go to bed and that was because she was just not feeling good.. Poor baby
She started saying a bad word lately.. This is definitely mommy's fault, It is amazing how fast they catch on to things... I guess we have to watch what we say around her.
Speaking of how amazing it is how they catch on she started doing a fake cry because I do this with her when I want loves and she won't give them to me.
And finally the last new thing I had written down that she is doing. I told you a week or so ago how she started to put her dukes up, well a friend of mine at work, Cassie taught Shaley to pound it. Very cute and I know Cassie felt so proud to teach her something :)

Over this last weekend My mom, Casey, Dalton (Casey's Guy), Dalton's Uncle, Shaley and I all went out to the lake. We had a blast! Shaley has never been on a boat so that was a first for her. She didn't know what to think at first just for the fact that she had to wear her life vest the whole time and she wasn't to keen on that! She did finally warm up to it though and had a great time.

Today before we went for pictures we had to stop at the gas station and my husband bought me a rose from there. He rarely buys me flowers because when we first got together I used to say I hated them cause all they did was die but in all reality I do LOVE getting them so when I was surprised today with one I was very happy and excited! So today we went to do some professional family pictures. We have not gone as a family yet to do this. It was a very stressful trip to do it I will tell you that right now. Having a 1 year old that does not want to corporate makes things very hard. We got some good family pictures but than we also wanted to do her 1 year at the same time. That did not happen. We got a couple good ones of her but that's it. We didn't even get to do the 1 year old block because she was screaming so bad it sounded like someone was trying to hurt her.

So I took Shaley down to a Pottery Studio. That was such a blast. I thought for James' birthday I would do something so different for him. I was going all out for his party so I just wanted to add more memories to it. This studio that we went to was very neat. You go in there and pick out a piece of potty you would like to paint. I found a nice sushi plate. Shaley had a blast being able to just paint all by herself. She was a big girl. She had a paint brush in each hand and was going at it. We want to go back and do a family painting soon.

So I pulled it off! James turned 33rd on Tuesday the 21st and I did a surprise party for him! We had such a great turn out. Lots of people showed up and best of all James was actually surprised.. haha. For anyone who doesn't really know James that well he is the hardest person to surprise, so I feel very honored I actually did it. I invited a lot of his friends that he hasn't seen for some time. He was surprised all the way till he pulled in the parking lot and saw one of his friends car. But hey at least he was surprised up to that point.. haha. I had some help during the day. My sister Amanda and my friend Ashley came over and helped out with Shaley and cooking all day. We made some marinated chicken, shake and bake type chicken, sweet potato crunch which was a hit, muffins, and salad. We also of course had chips, salsa, dip and a veggie tray. I got a photo cake made for him which he has never had. I tried to do a big deal for him because I did want to show him I care and love him. He was very happy as to who was there and what I had planned so I am glad he enjoyed all of it. We really did have a great time! Thank you to everyone that showed up! So I did a shout out to Shaley and wanted to also do one for James...
I sometimes don't give him enough credit or show him how much I do appreciate and love him. He really is a great husband and daddy. We have been together for 2 years now and am still loving every minute of being with him. Marriage is not always easy but he is the first one to step up to make anything and everything work. We met in Louisiana. His sister Jamie and I went down for the weekend to check out New Orleans (Their family used to live there) and stay with James. We automatically clicked and got along so great. We say now it was love at first site :) Everything that happened with us happened very quick but we have been very fine with all of it. We met in June of 2007, I moved down to Louisiana in August, got engaged the beginning of September on the beach in Florida it was beautiful, and than found out we were pregnant at the end of September. Our original wedding date was June 21st (a year after we got together) but once we found out we were pregnant I wanted to be married before the baby got here. We up'ed the date to January 26th, 2008. We had a beautiful wedding with lots of people that came! At this time of getting married I was 5 Months pregnant so it was a long day for me :) James put up with alot while I was pregnant, poor guy! But like I said before he is the one that always steps up and does anything to make things work. We have a lot more memories but I am going to post some pictures of those memories instead of going on and on like I can do.
